Hello, I’m Katarina Wagner, the founder of Devana Therapies.

I’m a qualified integrative counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and a certified nature therapies practitioner.

My original training in Forest Therapy was with Nádúr, a Centre for Integrative Forest Therapy in Ireland. Although the organisation is no longer active, the certification remains a valued foundation of my nature-based practice. I’ve since continued to deepen my work through further training with David Key in Outdoor Ecotherapy — an approach that explores our emotional wellbeing in relationship with the wider natural world.

Alongside my private work, I continue to support carers and individuals facing mental health challenges through my role with the charity Mind, where I work as a counsellor and nature therapies practitioner. This experience has deepened my belief in the healing power of nature and the importance of accessible, compassionate support.

My integrative approach draws from a range of therapeutic models, tailored to each person’s needs. I also lead forest therapy walks — gentle, restorative experiences that invite calm, clarity, and connection with the natural world.

Devana, the name of my practice, is inspired by the Slavic goddess of the forest and the hunt — a symbol of untamed strength, guardianship and the power of wilderness. Her spirit embodies the raw beauty of nature, reminding us that healing can be found in wildness, resilience, and the quiet power of the natural world.

Whether you're seeking support, reflection, or simply a place to breathe, I welcome you to explore this path with me.
